Governance Structure
Abe Youan Aging Research Institute is a non-profit general incorporated foundation established under the General Incorporated Foundations Act. Our governance structure consists of three layers: the Board of Directors responsible for business execution, the Board of Councilors overseeing the directors' execution, and Auditors verifying the appropriateness of financial reports.

The tenth generation of Abe Youando Pharmaceuticals, founded in 1731. Appointed as President & CEO in 2017, he is leading the company with 290 years of history into the next generation. In the development of NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) products, he conducted approximately three years of proprietary human safety and efficacy research. He launched Japan's first legally compliant NMN product.
